Eleeloo is one of the incredible content creators who decided to host a charity livestream in aid of WWF UK and raised over £500 towards WWF's vital conservation work.
Since a child Eleeloo has always had a fascination with animals and the natural world. They believe that as individuals we can stand up for what we believe in and make change, so imagine how much more we can do when we work together, and that's the mindset that our global community really needs, especially now more than ever.
This was Eleeloo's first ever charity livestream and when asked how they feel it went, they replied:
'It went really well both in regards to it being a smooth and enjoyable experience and of how much we raised. This was my first ever charity stream on Twitch, and my channel is relatively small, so I was a bit anxious about whether we would have a good turn out or raise much. That being said, I had a lot of viewers, old and new, turn up. Whether they lurked, joined in with games or donated, it all helped and I am really grateful to each and every one of them'
Climate change and the loss of nature are the biggest environmental crises of our time – and we are the last generation that can stop their most devastating impacts. The choices we make each day as individuals and businesses make a profound difference to the health and future of our precious planet.
Whenever you want!
It is important people know when you will be streaming so they can jump online and support you.
You can stream whatever you want, whether it is your favourite games, hosting a quiz, creating artwork or your own weird and wonderful ideas.
You could complete a gaming challenge such as:
-Game like a Gorilla for 16 hours and 43 minutes – that’s 1,004 minutes, one for each mountain gorilla -remaining in the wild.
-Be a Tiger Twitch-er for 9 hours – that’s 540 minutes, one for each Amur tiger estimated to be living in the forests of Russia.
Keep yourself fuelled, hydrated and comfortable!
It's really simple! When you sign up you will create your own fundraising page through JustGiving. Once you've completed it, the page is ready to share with friends, family, co-workers or the wider gaming community. It will have all the details of your stream and allows people to make donations that will come straight to WWF UK!
For those who wish to donate to your fundraiser offline, you can use our handy paying in form to make sure the money raised reaches us.

Gift Aid is a scheme which allows charities such as WWF-UK to reclaim the basic rate tax paid on any money donated to them by UK taxpayers. As a UK taxpayer, you will pay tax on your earnings, savings, or pensions, at either a basic rate of 20% or a higher rate of 40%. If you donate to charity, this donation will come from money that you have already paid tax on. As a charity, we can reclaim this tax back from the Government. This means that if you donate £10 and use Gift Aid, it’s actually worth £12.50. Which is great news for us! And because this additional money comes to us straight from the government, not out of your pocket, you would still only be giving us £10 of your own money. Which is great news for you! We’re determined to stop the destruction of nature and help it to recover. We’re focusing on several areas of work that will help turn things around. We want to create a world where people and nature thrive. For more information on what WWF UK does, please visit https://www.wwf.org.uk/what-we-do
